As an artist, I am drawn to places carrying memories. I am especially fascinated by situations in which nature takes over man-made places – memories of life, sketches of a new aesthetics.

In my photographs, familiar places turn unfamiliar, creating links between my inner world and the outer world, reflecting my thoughts and memories.

This series of photos was created solely as a collection of light-box photographs – photos set within a light-box, hand-made from recycled wood. Every light box is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece, made of pieces of wood showing the marks of time.
